Allianz Global Investors of America, the US arm of Allianz’s asset management operations, Alliance Global Investors (AGI), has been one of our esteemed clients. ERP Consulting leveraged its expertise in SAP and streamlined the operations and systems in the organization.
We designed and developed three complex Universes for Dashboard and Webi report requirements, built Xcelsius 2008 Dashboard solutions on Dashboard Builder with interactive analytical capabilities, and published a set of Webi reports. Our team installed and managed four AGI and four PIMCO (AGI’s subsidiary) servers on the architecture and design of the hardware and software within the client environments for all their deployment efforts. We also enabled software upgrades in Win 2008 servers and Unix environments.
We led the efforts to connect SAP Web Intelligence reports to Bex queries SAP BW/NetWeaver 7.0 environments. To make the processes seamless, we installed BOBI 4.0, 3.1, Mobile 4.0, Explorer 4.0, on Windows 2008 64-bit environment and on Virtual server (VMware). It was our responsibility to configure and administer security groups and content in BOBI 4.0 and Xi3.1. Our expert team designed and configured Windows AD (SSO) and handled troubleshooting/tuning the CMS and server tuning parameters for BOBI 4.0 and Xi3.1 environments. In the Business Objects Enterprise environments, our experts optimized its performance and demonstrated impeccable ability to quickly diagnose and resolve problems related to web servers, application servers, and BI web applications. We designed BI reporting solutions leveraging a full suite of applications including Web Intelligence, Designer, Xcelsius, and Dashboard. To ensure smooth processes, we implemented the best practices of business Objects migrations from environment to environment and managed migrations in Lifecycle Manager (LCM).
The team successfully managed Business Objects platform performance monitoring and worked with infrastructure groups to deliver platform availability metrics. We also managed publication of reports and schedules, created users and groups, and administered appropriate custom access rights, while maintaining audit reports based on the Business Objects audit database and audit Universe. We led the initiative to set up a Disaster Recovery environment for Business Objects.
